The Burlington Club, located in Mayfair, is one of London’s most exclusive venues with membership only entry after 10:30 p.m.
Sexy, stylish and sophisticated, The Burlington Club is spread over two floors: The ground floor fascinates with its velvet covered banquets with sumptuous silk and satin cushions, low tables teamed with square luxury stools, a bar with cocktails to die for, and the VIP area. Some of the furniture here has been created by Jimmie Martin, who was inspired by 1900 aristocratic decadent homes and ‘Blade Runner’ the movie. The interior design is a mix of old and new: black painted walls and floors, bright red lights, faux baroque furniture, black chandeliers, and messages such as ‘Simon Says’ scrawled on chairs and walls. The downstairs bar and club area is an equally glamorous place. This is the place for dancing with a spectacular lit ceiling, that’s lighting varies in accordance to the music played.
Artwork here changes on a monthly basis, as the clubs walls act as a backdrop space for new artists to exhibit and sell their work. On the ground The Burlington Club displays one vision from an artist and on the lower lever another urban vision from the same artist is demonstrated.
The music at The Burlington Club changes nightly, as the policy here is to pursue the alternative. The guests may find themselves listening to anything from electro to salsa, and the dance area may be a bit limited, when busy.
Undoubtedly The Burlington Club is the right place for great experiences. It offers its customers unusual music, an intricate food menu, and cocktails to die for!
